Edge Conference: Bursary Opportunity!

CILIP Ireland is offering one bursary to The Edge Conference on 13 and 14 March 2025 in Edinburgh.
Edge is returning to The Radisson Blu on Edinburgh’s historical Royal Mile for 2025.
The Edge Conference brings together change managers, thought leaders and leaders in information services, shared services, engagement, and regeneration to share and develop best practice from around the world.
The key aims of the Edge conference are:
To make businesses and services edgier, smarter, more creative and cost effective in a world that is being transformed by digital and social technologies;
To learn how libraries and information are delivering regeneration, eGovernment, learning and digital inclusion;
To hear the latest ideas, share success stories, hear best practices and meet colleagues from across the country and around the world;
To open a platform for discussion on the future of service delivery in libraries and information; and
To offer a platform for new innovations and technologies.

The bursary will cover-
• 2 day attendance at conference including all coffee breaks and lunches.• Ticket to the Gala Dinner on the 13th March 2025• All conference literature.• 2 nights’ accommodation in a standard room (single occupancy) for nights of the 12th & 13th March 2025
The bursary will also contribute £150 towards travel costs.
Bursary criteria:
You must be a current CILIP Ireland member;
You must not have received a CILIP Ireland bursary within the last six months;
You must agree to write a conference report for publication within four weeks of the conference;
You must be willing to submit content for use on social media platforms; and
You must have consent from your line manager to attend.
Closing date for applications is 12:00 noon Monday 17 February.
