CILIP Ireland is delighted to announce that we are sponsoring a bursary place at Libraries Rewired 2023. The bursary will cover the conference fee and travel and accommodation expenses to the value of £300.
The programme at Libraries Rewired 2023 is designed to upskill, connect and develop the sector’s response to digital transformation in a time of disruptive change.
It is CILIP Ireland’s aim that this bursary place will support tech-curious colleagues to develop the skills, knowledge and awareness of the current digital landscape, and encourage transformation, innovation and an improved infrastructure for both staff and service users.
Libraries Rewired is the UK’s leading digital transformation event for the library, information and knowledge community. As a delegate, you can expect to hear about the latest sector trends and developments, gain new skills, be inspired by our fantastic keynote speakers and get creative, ‘hands-on’ time with the latest tech.
The programme will explore:
AI and data
Digital creativity
Digital rights
Digital skills
Digital leadership
Change management processes
Central to the event is our Digital Solutions Lab; a space where you can receive guided demos – and have tactile ‘play time’ with – a range of digital platforms and solutions, and chat with experts and suppliers, all in one place. This is a space for procurement and pre-procurement conversations and explorations with the innovators servicing our needs – now and in the future.
