There is no escaping the upheaval and very strange landscape we have had to navigate in the last year within our families, workplaces and communities. This session at the Annual Joint Conference aims to look back at how we have coped in our workplaces and how we have continued to work with, serve and support our communities.

Firstly we will hear from Sinead O'Higgins from Waterford County Council, followed by Trisha Ward, Libraries NI and lastly from Aoife Lawton, HSE Library, Ireland. Each will cover how the library and information service they represent has responded to the pandemic, what strategies they have had to put in place to continue to offer a service, which developments they will keep and what they will gladly leave behind.

There is still time to register for your spot at the conference. Simply visit the CILIP Ireland or Library Association of Ireland webpages, and register your details. There is a small charge for attending and you can decide to attend day 1 or 2 or both days. This session is on day 2 of the Conference, 16th April 2021.

Day 2 of the CILIP Ireland / LAI Annual Joint Conference is kindly sponsored by ESBSCO
