CILIP Ireland / LAI Annual Joint Conference - Sustainable Libraries

Our last session of the Annual Joint Conference will see how look to the future and how to make the locations, buildings and services we work within be more sustainable.
Turning first to University College Cork, we will hear from Emma Horgan about the 'Love Our Library' campaign. What started in 2016 with the UCC Saver Saves Scheme turned into the 2017 Love Our Library campaign - staff and students really got behind this idea and it'll be interesting to hear Emma's insights about the campaign through the years.
Our last presentation of the conference is from Marion Khorshidian, Library Campus Manager at the Belfast campus of Ulster University. As the University has a commitment to improve its environmental sustainability, building projects are now undertaken with environmental sensitivity. The Belfast campus retained it's Gold accreditation of the Green Impact / Sustainability Smart initiative. Marion will bring great insight in this field through her involvement in various library design projects.
There is still a chance to book your place on the conference. This session will take place on day 2 of the conference - 16th April 2021. Please visit either the CILIP Ireland or LAI webpages to book your spot.
Day 2 of the CILIP Ireland / LAI Annual Joint Conference is kindly sponsored by EBSCO.
